Mr. Happy (or Monsieur Heureux, as he may be known in Canada) just got back from a 1400 mile ride in the Canadian Rockies. This was his first night in Hope, BC, the location of the filming of the first Rambo movie.
Mr. Happy not only joins me on rides, he goes on backpacking trips,too! He likes the fresh air. But, he cautiously keeps his distance from the camp fire. (Photo location: Sparks Creek campsite, F.D. Roosevelt State Park, Georgia USA.)

Greylock Glen, Adams, Massachusetts, May 2011. Mr Happy sprinted up the Thunderbolt Trail, site of a closed-before-it-opened ski area, leaving the rest of the party in the dust. He perched on a trailside log enjoying a refreshing drink of water while his companions labored up the hill and marvelled at his speed and stamina.
Mr. Happy gets me into all kinds of trouble…
It’s so easy to travel with Mr. Happy. He never complains where I bring him nor does he cause much trouble along the way. People get a kick out of him when I ask him to pose for pictures. Ride hard America!
