One day in October of 2009, Mr. Happy thought it might be fun to see about getting a spine of his own. Being a good friend of Mr. Happy’s, I told him that I would try it first and he could come along and watch…just to see if he was really interested in having a spine. So off we went to the hospital to check in, meet the nurses, fill out the paper work, and have have a spine surgery play day. As is turned out, Mr. Happy happy left his glasses home, tripped one of the nurses, made a boo boo on another nurses uniform, and may have failed his UA and Blood Pressure Test. Mr. Happy finally got on the good side of the nurses however, by performing acrobatic tricks, eating all of his cereal, and letting the nurses hold him. When it was time to go home, all of the nurses came by to say good bye to Mr. Happy. It couldn’t have been more fun spending a day or two in the hospital with Mr. Happy…who decided incidently, that he really didn’t need a spine that bad after all!
